This album is a homemade compilation of some recent lo-fidelity recordings I've been making. Some of it takes itself seriously and some of it doesn't, there are moments of dark and ambient post-rock and there are moments of frenetic, dissonant spazz-rock. All of the songs have a similar dynamic: one electric guitar playing most often with a relatively low tone, slight tremolo and lots of reverb. There are tracks featured under the name Overcone - these alter the dynamic in that there are two guitars playing. The second guitar in those tracks uses a simple miniature Honeytone amp with no FX. Some of these songs are improvised and others have been relatively conceived/jammed. The Overcone songs are named so because they are both myself and my band member in The Pinecone Kids (soundcloud.com/doxallyourhoes).

It's important to note that levels vary for different recordings in this album and that all songs will sound better listened to on [good] headphones. This is a result of using both the mic built into my old laptop and an exterior mic made by Logitech (supposedly for making internet calls/videos)...
